Children's is hiring for a Patient Engagement Technology and Communication Coordinator.  This is an onsite position.  This person will be interacting with patients and their families by assisting them with the technologies that are available.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Assists department staff, as well as oversee tasks such as creating and tracking reports, typing manuscripts and correspondence, attending and taking minutes for staff meetings, monitoring the departmental performance improvement plan, reimbursement, billing, marketing, and development of additional projects as needed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Enters patient billing, coding, and reimbursement. Transcribes dictation and notes which relates to such matters as correspondence, reports, and records.
  • Investigates and follows up on complaints. Communicates complaints and resolutions and enters risk master data.
  • Oversees and implements departmental quality improvement plan.
  • Coordinates group meetings and conferences. Takes and distributes meeting minutes.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies.
  • Minimum Requirements

    Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience

  • 2-5 years
  • Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience
