We are seeking a skilled Progressive Care Unit RN to join our team in the Cardiothoracic Stepdown Unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. As a progressive care unit RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing comprehensive care and support throughout their hospital stay.
About the Role
- Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established standards of nursing care.
- Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, educating patients and their families on managing their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care needs and medication administration.
- Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, developing, implementing, and documenting individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family, or caregiver.
