Overview
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Responsible for performing routine duties in dealing with the daily operation of Radiology Services, including but not limited to patient transportation, radiographic film development and copying, stocking supplies and clerical duties.
Responsibilities
- Schedules procedures, maintains medical record information, obtains prescriptions when necessary.
- Escorts or transports patients to and from examination area, assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patient as needed.
- Maintains and ensures availability of supplies and equipment.
- Follows up when necessary with outside films and calls in results.
