Missouri Baptist Medical Center, known for personalized compassionate care, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services along including a 24-hour adult emergency department and a specialized pediatric emergency unit in collaboration with Washington University Physicians from St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Missouri Baptist Medical Center is also proud to be starting an Internal Medicine Residency program starting Summer 2025.
The Hospital Medicine Medical Director shall serve as physician leader for the Hospital Medicine provider team, while serving as a liaison within associated departments and other hospitals. General duties will include leadership and oversight of the delivery of care, quality of care, relationships with other elements of the healthcare team, managing Hospital Medicine Program at MBMC and related personnel, and ensuring the overall efficiency and quality of the Hospital Medicine Program. It is expected that the Medical Director will serve as a prime example to team members and non-team members alike.
Preferred Experience Includes :
5-10 years of leadership experience
Experience working with Advanced Practice Providers
Involvement with residency programs / teaching
Generating and implementing change management
