The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Christian Hospital is searching for a full-time, Charge Nurse/Team Lead for the night shift position. The 29-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing surgical patients, stroke patients requiring telemetry monitoring, heart patients, Congestive heart failures, COPD patients. Position Requirements
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.
Progressive Care Unit is a 40 bed unit dedicated primarily to the cardiac and pulmonary patient populations. Unit has the ability to provide cardiac monitoring for all patients on the floor. The unit is located on the 7th floor and has a ten-bed Respiratory Care Unit for individuals with choric lung illnesses. Progressive Care Unit is staffed by RN's, PCAs and clerical associates.

Role Purpose
Under the direction of manager, plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a unit on a designated shift. Performs direct patient care as needed and functions as clinical resource to nursing and support staff. Assesses, plans, evaluates and documents the nursing process of assigned unit as needed.
