Overview

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.
Blood Bank provides cross matching of blood products for transfusion & routine typing. Also provides a full range of antibody identification services including panels, absorptions, direct antiglobulin (Coombs) tests, eluates, titers, and phenotyping.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Performs specimen processing and routine / complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities as required. Demonstrates good laboratory practice May also coordinate the activities of the lab.
