This is a remote position, you can be located in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee or Texas.

Charge Process Department is responsible for entity charge masters and revenue usage reports. Support both internal and external customers on all aspects of maintenance and reporting from the five chargemaster patient accounting systems which house nine different chargemasters within the system. Performs financial analysis detailing gross and net revenue impacts to ensure consistent charging methodologies, market sensitivity and maximum reimbursement are coordinated.

Role Purpose

The Manager of Analytics in Revenue Cycle is responsible for promoting collection excellence through the meaningful reporting and analysis of Revenue Cycle information. Responsible for leading a team of analysts who routinely develop, evaluate, and report on KPI metrics, staff productivity and ad hoc investigations and research. Manages applications and business intelligence solutions that include a SQL server, Tableau, and Epic report and dashboard development. The Manager will also maintain Revenue Cycle Analytic systems that are efficient in the use of Epic information and progress into the use of Predictive Analytics.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops new and enhances existing metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to provide operational and strategic views of current progress against targeted objectives and insight into new opportunities.
  • Monitors and researches healthcare trends and benchmarks to maintain industry competitiveness and intelligence.
  • Enhances our Epic reporting analytics by building dashboards and reports using WIBEE, Cubes and SQL reporting.
  • Maintains all outside RCM reporting, including but not limited to Missouri Hospital Association, Price Waterhouse, Managed Care and other departments as requested.
  • Retains a working knowledge of reports that feed the Revenue Cycle spectrum that include 3m, CDI, Cloudmed and other vendors that are relevant within Revenue Cycle.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
