The Senior Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Training Specialist is responsible for the facilitation, design and development of multiple training programs for RCM. This position works with Quality Analysts and RCM leadership to evaluate and analyze performance data to understand gaps and develop learning.

Role Purpose
The Senior Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Training Specialist is responsible for the facilitation, design and development of multiple training programs for RCM. This position collaborates with RCM leadership to understand and design training plans that address performance gaps and achieve the desired quality standards and outcomes. This position also serves as a subject matter expert and ensures that all training content and resources are properly developed and maintained. Additionally, the Senior RCM Training Specialist provides coaching and mentoring to junior team members, providing them with the standard knowledge, skills and resources to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates training sessions and helps employees develop subject matter expertise; serves as back-up for all RCM training & quality (T&Q) class trainers.
- Utilizes RCM T&Q templates to design, and develop facilitator and/or participant materials; ensures that all training deliverables, content and materials stay current.
- Manages all training programs, to include New Employee Training, Skill Building, On-The-Job Trainer Certification (a.k.a., preceptor); coordinates all training logistics and system-wide roll-outs of new training programs.
- Coaches and prepares new trainers to facilitate training activities; advises junior team members on how to make their facilitation style and training materials more participant-centered.
- Collaborates with quality specialists to document and maintain the accuracy of standard work documents, policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Partners with department leaders to conduct needs assessments and to identify trends that may affect quality outcomes; recommends training solutions aimed at reducing performance gaps.
