What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Video Editor/Finish Editor position at BJC?
The Digital Media and Video Production Senior Strategist (Senior Video Motion Artist/Finish Editor) works in the enterprise’s Marketing and Communications department as part of the full-service, in-house creative team. Reporting to a Manager, Digital Media and Video Production Strategy, this position is part of team of video producers that creates compelling digital media and videos for internal and external audiences to support business needs and marketing objectives for BJC Health System and its Regions.
Hybrid position; regular onsite meetings, and on-location filming as necessary, required; occasional regional travel may be required; willingness to work early, late, and occasional weekends as required for filming.
Ideal Candidates should have:
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects.
- Proficient in Davinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, Knowledge Blender or Cinema 4d, and Mocha Pro.
- Advanced understanding of color science/color conversion, post-production process, and workflow.
- Strong knowledge of finishing work such as VFX and color grading.
- Knowledge and workflows of contemporary cinema cameras such as RED, Canon, and Sony cameras.
- Knowledge of Digital Asset Management and proxy workflow.
