Skills-: Fully qualified analyst in the Biology DNA discipline with testifying experience. Must be trained by the FDLE training program and be knowledgeable and qualified in current testing protocol. Review of data from outsourcing vendors for FDLE review. Proficiency testing is current.
Equipment -: Laptop provided by Dept.
Software to be used-: LIMS,Office Suite, GMIDX, STRMIX
Mandatory-: DNA Analysis, STRMix, GMIDX with Globalfiler analysis and interpretation
Duties-: Reviews DNA cases sent for outsourcing and completes the review and CODIS entry. Technical reviews of current casework.
Mode of Interview-: Virtual
Background Checks-: Statewide Criminal Search (Past 7 years), Fingerprint Level 2 check– FBI level, Past 5 years of employment, Motor Vehicle Check, 10 Panel Drug Screen
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $26.74 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
