We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting and a strong understanding of various painting techniques and tools. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The Painter will work on construction sites and residential properties, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the spaces we serve.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a smooth finish.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks as needed to enhance the overall appearance of painted areas.
- Install fixtures and ensure proper alignment and finishing touches are applied.
- Conduct concrete finishing work when required, ensuring durability and quality in all projects.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting and construction.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential painting with a portfolio of completed projects preferred.
- Familiarity with trim carpentry, basic math skills for measurements, and calculations related to painting tasks.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment safely in a construction setting.
- Experience with airless paint spraying techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing processes is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
