Job Description

As a Baker with BJs Wholesale Club, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our bakery products are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for proofing and baking all unfinished bakery goods according to established product handling information.
• Additionally, you will be expected to maintain all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.
• You will also be responsible for unpacking bakery goods from the freezer and displaying proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations.

Furthermore, you will work closely with other team members to ensure seamless execution of daily bakery operations.

Working Conditions:

• Most of the time is spent moving about non-hard surfaces.
• There may be a need to occasionally position oneself to examine or scan merchandise, which can require bending, handling, pulling, reaching, pushing, and/or stooping.
• Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
