What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front End Developer position at BJU Education Group?
POSITION SUMMARY : BJU Press recently rebuilt our entire eCommerce platforms and is looking to expand its team. In this role, you will work with designers and subject matter experts in key areas to implement effective user experiences across BJU Press eCommerce platforms. You will maintain and continue to develop best in class websites and work to optimize web speed and navigation for users across mobile and desktop platforms.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Writing website code with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Producing, maintaining and modifying websites and user interfaces
- Incorporating applications, graphics, audio and video clips into websites
- Creating new website pages
- Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
- Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors
- Fix any website issues or bugs that arise
