SUMMARY : We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Manager of Supply Chain and Integrated Business Planning to lead our supply chain operations and enhance our integrated business planning processes. This role is vital in ensuring that our operations are efficient and that our products are delivered on time to meet the needs of our customers.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the mission and business goals of BJU Press.
- Integrated Planning : Lead the integrated business planning process, ensuring seamless alignment between demand forecasting, inventory management, and financial planning.
- Supply Chain Optimization : Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures within the supply chain, utilizing data analytics and industry best practices.
- Inventory Management : Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and enhance turnover rates while ensuring product availability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to ensure alignment on product launches, promotions, and overall business strategy.
- Supplier Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective material delivery.
- Team Development : Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Performance Metrics : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain performance and drive accountability.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
