POSITION SUMMARY : Are you a talented graphic designer or motion graphics designer interested in designing for video? Our video designers (specializing in graphic design or motion graphics) work alongside creative teams to brainstorm and produce a variety of educational video series. Our designers create title openers, on-screen graphics, and other visual elements before putting their designs to motion. Experienced video designers have the opportunity to cross-train in graphic design, motion graphics, illustration, or animation.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborating with all video segment members
- Creating detailed design schemes for educational video series
- Creating openers, illustrations, and other visuals to be used in short, educational videos
- Producing and exporting motion graphics files to allow other production personnel to insert into digital content
- Organizing motion graphics files on the network to be accessible team members and quality control
- Securing proper credits for images (from Permissions dept.)
- Meeting deadlines
- Staying current in the world of graphic design and motion graphics as well as video production
- Assisting Video Design Supervisor with special tasks or projects as needed
