Position Summary: Assist the CLD full-time staff with special projects, communication, and mentoring; perform a variety of administrative functions; familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures; rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This Academic GA role begins August 2025. Candidates must be enrolled in post-graduate studies at BJU.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate student leadership activities
- Communicate with student leaders
- Maintain activity calendar and reservations for rooms in Den
- Plan CLD Leadership Workshops
- Assist in oversight of student organizations and CLD assistants
- Attend student life functions as needed
- Update CLD social media accounts
- Act as a liaison between the students and various organizations and ministries
- Assist in organizational efforts as needed
- Assist in representing the CLD at official campus events
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple projects with efficiency and accuracy
- Good people skills
- Good communication skills
- Display a wide degree of creativity and latitude
