Tour Guide/Driver - Golf Cart Tour - St. Augustine

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years of age and have a passion for sharing information about St. Augustine and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Tour Guide, you will lead groups through various locations, providing insights and engaging narratives that enhance the visitor experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage time effectively while ensuring that all guests feel welcome and informed.

Current Tours: Pinkstory - A fairytale journey through St. Augustine (History tour) and Haunted in Pink - a Ghost Tour with pink vibes

Responsibilities

• Lead guided golf cart tours through designated areas, providing informative commentary on historical, cultural, or natural aspects of the location. You will have a script of information that is accurate to refer to.
• Engage with guests to create an enjoyable and interactive experience, encouraging questions and participation.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during tours by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Manage tour schedules effectively to ensure timely departures and arrivals at each location.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the tour.
• Continuously educate yourself on relevant topics to enhance your knowledge base and improve the quality of tours offered.

Skills

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse groups of visitors however this is not required.
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engagingly in front of groups.
• Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
• Effective time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule.
• Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in guests while guiding them through their experience.
• A passion for educating others about the history, culture, or nature of the areas being toured.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
