BK Fire Suppression & Security Systems is a full-service fire protection company designing, installing, and servicing fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, and pre-engineered fire suppression systems. BK Fire has been servicing Long Island for over 35 years and offers a great work environment with industry-competitive benefits. We are seeking an experienced fire alarm technician to perform fire alarm installation, inspections, and service calls for our commercial and residential accounts.
Position Description
· Perform inspections and service on fire alarm, intrusion alarm, access control, and CCTV systems
· Ability to read blueprints and install fire alarm/security systems for commercial and residential accounts
· Train end users on various systems installed
· Communicate with end users on deficiencies and propose corrective actions
· Maintain proper stock of equipment on service vehicle
Position Requirements
· Must have 3 years experience - willing to train the right candidate with experience
· Must have and maintain valid drivers license
· Must be able to work full time and be on time to job locations as required
