As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), youll get the chance to work directly with incredible individuals, helping them build essential life skills and overcome challenges. What Youll Be Doing:
- Hands-On Support for Clients:
- Dive right in and work one-on-one with clients to carry out personalized behavior plans.
- Help clients build key skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care.
- Use fun and creative strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and replace them with positive ones!
- Track and Celebrate Progress:
- Keep track of client behavior and milestones with detailed data collection.
- See real progress in action as you monitor client growth and work with the team to tweak strategies for success.
- Teach and Empower with New Skills:
- Be a coach and role model! Youll guide clients through learning new skills, whether its following directions, learning to communicate better, or completing daily tasks.
- Make learning fun and engaging with exciting activities that motivate and challenge your clients.
- Team Up and Collaborate:
- Work side by side with a passionate team of BCBAs, case manager, parents, and caregivers to make sure every clients needs are met.
- Share ideas, strategies, and success stories in team meetings to keep the energy high and the progress rolling.
- Support Families Every Step of the Way:
- Build strong relationships with families, offering support and celebrating wins together.

What Youll Need to Be Successful:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, but if you have a degree in psychology or education, thats a bonus!
- Certification: Must have an active RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience: No prior experience? No problem! If you have a passion for helping others, well train you to succeed.
- Skills:
- Energetic and outgoingready to make each session exciting!
- Strong communicator, able to connect with clients and families.
- Organized, with an eye for detail in tracking progress.
- Patience and creativity to navigate challenges and make learning fun.
Physical Requirements:
- Expect to be on your feet, moving around, and actively engaging with clients in a hands-on way.
- Be ready to lift and assist clients as part of therapy sessions.
Work Environment:
- Every day will look a little different! Youll work in homes, schools, and community settings, bringing positive change wherever you go.
- We offer flexible scheduling. Many of our clients will need various scheduling including evenings and weekends.
