Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant to support our team in various tasks related to construction and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills, contributing to the successful execution of projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of remodeling projects, following established plans and blueprints.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
• Support carpentry work, including building structures and frameworks as needed.
• Engage in pipe threading and welding activities under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are accounted for and properly stored.

Skills

• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Mechanical knowledge to assist with various construction tasks.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction work.
• Familiarity with remodeling processes and techniques.
• Soldering skills are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
