Summary
Responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality and for supporting the Quality Team.
Responsibilities
- Inspects, tests, and samples materials, parts, or products for defects and deviations from specifications.
- Observes and monitors production operations to ensure conformance to specifications and makes or orders necessary process or assembly adjustments.
- Coordinates with Inventory Manager disposition of product/materials not meeting specifications.
- Interprets and follows blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions for inspections.
- Records inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.
- Communicates with production teams regarding quality control issues and recommends changes to enhance product quality.
- Keeps track of quality documentation and reports any inconsistencies or changes.
- Stays updated with product specifications and the latest quality control techniques.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Previous Training in Quality Control Methods and Standards
- Previous experience in a quality inspection/auditor role is preferred.
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Thorough knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
- Ability to use measurement tools and read technical documents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
