Summary
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at BK Resources, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing sales and business development within a designated geographical region, focusing on the foodservice industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet company goals and targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust strategies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and accounts.
- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives within the region.
- Train, motivate and provide ongoing support to ensure sales targets are met.
- Track sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and ensure products are effectively marketed in alignment with company objectives.
- Address customer concerns, complaints and inquiries, ensuring a high level of satisfaction, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer loyalty.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential clients and emerging trends in the foodservice industry.
- Monitor and control regional sales budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources along with increased revenue and improved profit margins.
- Evaluate performance and implement actions to improve the performance of distributors, dealers, and other channel members.
- Work with the Credit Department as needed to help resolve and manage national accounts receivable and credit disputes.
- Responsible for analyzing and determining competitive pricing strategies and weaknesses along with maintaining current updated account profiles and customer needs analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in sale experience in the foodservice industry or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and find solutions to sales-related issues.
- Ability to interpret sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform decisions.
- Familiarity with foodservice products, operations and industry-specific regulations.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
