Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Press Brake Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality parts that meet industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate parts according to production schedules.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Capable of driving forklift.
Experience
- Proficiency in operating milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints is essential.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
