Leasing Specialist - Internship

BKM Management Company is looking for a talented individual currently enrolled in junior or senior undergrad programs for our 2025 Summer Leasing Internship Program located in our Tempe, Arizona office. Our internship program is designed for highly motivated and ambitious students looking to enter the commercial real estate field. As part of our team, you learn, grow, and contribute to one of the country’s leading light industrial investment fund managers and operators. This role is 100% in-office due to the collaborative nature.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The internship is an in-person program based in Tempe, Arizona.

The intern will work with the leasing team to:

• Develop comprehensive market, project, and site knowledge
• Track and manage critical lease dates for assigned tenants
• Prepare leasing documentation and generate related reports for leasing meetings
• Conduct proactive outreach to current tenants in anticipation of lease expirations
• Identify possible tenant expansion or downsize strategies
• Manage existing tenant inquiries and emails
• Update leasing site plans within Property Capsule
• Process commission invoices
• Potentially visiting properties including touring vacant suites with brokers, property management and construction departments
  
  

The intern will be exposed to multiple departments and will collaborate across various disciplines including brokerage, asset management, property management, and construction.

THE QUALIFIERS:

• Pursing a bachelor's degree, preferably a junior or senior
• Minimum undergrad 3.5 GPA
