Project Architect I

Position Description:

BKV Group seeks a talented Project Architect I with 1 – 4 years' related experience to join our team in Dallas, TX. We are looking for someone with architectural experience in all phases of project design and documentation. Previous experience working on multi-family housing or government projects is preferred.

• Assist the Project Manager or Senior Project Architect in planning the layout of projects and preparing information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, and equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering team members to assist the PM or SPA with the integration of engineering systems into a unified design for client review and approval.
• Prepare complete and comprehensive plans, schedules, and details utilizing Revit software for the architectural construction documents under the guidance of the SPA and/or PM
• Coordinate the architectural Revit model with each discipline for a complete and coordinated 3-D model and 2-D drawing deliverable as required at each phase of the project.
• Work closely with the project team to support the construction administration phase with responding to RFI’s, submittal reviews, ASI’s and PR’s.
• Receive project direction from the SPA and/or PM.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in architecture and licensure required.
• 1– 4 years' experience as a registered architect.
• Proficiency with Revit, BIM 360 and Microsoft Office programs required.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently with team members.
• Certification or experience in sustainable building design a plus.

Compensation range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually, or commensurate with experience.
