Senior Project Architect – Government

BKV Group seeks a talented Senior Project Architect with 10-20 years’ related Government (Fire Station / EMS, Law Enforcement, Justice, City Halls, Public Works, Education, Library) project experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has architectural experience in all phases of project design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Partner in Charge and Project Manager to support the design and technical tasks for small to mid-scale projects.
• Implement code review requirements and respective documents to obtain review and approval of the plans for code compliance.
• Plan the layout of projects, and coordinate and integrate engineering elements into a unified design for client review and approval.
• Prepare scale drawings and contract documents utilizing Revit for deliverable packages to Contractors, Clients and Authorities having jurisdiction.
• Participate in periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with documents.
• Implement technical reviews as part of the production process.
• Prioritize and concurrently serve multiple projects.
• Maintain effective communication with project team members.

Qualifications

Compensation range : Approximately $120,000 – $130,000 annually, or commensurate with experience.
