Land Survey – Crew Chief / Survey Technician

Responsibilities Include :
- Utilizes field notes, sketches, and other data gathered by field survey crew to prepare survey maps in electronic format.
- Utilizes survey coordinate geometry programs to reduce horizontal and vertical field data for computation of traverse closure and level runs.
- Interprets and plots deed descriptions to facilitate boundary determination.
- Utilizes electronic drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, and other survey technologies associated with survey operations. Familiarity with other software such as Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu is also required.
- Utilizes software to create Digital Terrain Models (DTM) for generation of contours.
- Responsible for utilizing company management techniques and following company drawing standards and company detail library.
- Ability for local travel 25-50% of the time, with occasional overnight.
