Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical projects and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations on the construction site.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians on various construction projects.
- Interpret and implement electrical schematics to ensure accurate installation of systems.
- Manage project budgets effectively while maintaining quality standards.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Prolog for project tracking and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work schedules and resolve any issues that arise.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical systems and troubleshooting problems.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes related to electrical projects.
- Experience using construction management software (ProCore, Prolog) is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
- Previous experience working on pipeline projects is a plus.
