Position Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our products are presented effectively in retail environments; primarily putting together displays and stocking shelves. This position involves working with management, staff, and various retail accounts to maintain visual standards, manage inventory, and enhance customer experience through exceptional service. Please note, the job duties of this position involve driving your personal vehicle on routes.
Responsibilities:
- Stock and organize merchandise on shelves and displays according to company guidelines with efficiency.
- Learn & maintain working knowledge of code dating, ensuring that product moves on the shelf according to code.
- Guarantee that out of code products never reach the consumer by following the proper organization and product dating techniques.
- Build, refill and rebuild product displays in retail accounts as needed.
- Maintain open communication with managers on matters regarding accounts.
- Foster positive relationships on the Company’s behalf with retail accounts, supplier representatives, and the general public with a friendly and professional attitude.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as needed.
- Weekend availability required.
- Must have valid Class C Driver’s License and proof of valid personal car insurance.
- Must be 18 years old (or Subject to Verification of minimum legal age)
