Legal - Assistant Bookkeeper
Job description
Well-established multi-lawyer law firm seeks experienced, part-time Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be reliable and able to utilize their technical skills in a fast-paced work environment. This position calls for a high level of organization with a focus on detail and the ability to manage time while accurately completing tasks with minimal supervision and ability to work well with other staff members. A proven ability to maintain confidentiality is also a must.
Essential Job Duties includes but are not limited to:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Trust accounting
- Billing
- Other administrative duties: manage and order supplies, arrange staff events, special projects, monthly reporting and assisting the Office Administrator.
Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong Excel knowledge
Min. 5 years bookkeeping experience.
Must successfully pass a background check.
Experience with TABS3 legal software, law firm experience and trust accounting a plus
Education:
Certificate or AS in accounting preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Negotiable and commensurate with experience
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (Off Wednesday) 9-5
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 29 per week
