Store Associate (Weekday Daytime Shift)

Schedule Requirements and Description

This role will primarily work throughout the week Monday-Friday. Must be available to work 4-5 days/wk. Specifically we are seeking to fill our Day Shift which will begin at Noon. There will be an occasional morning shift for machine sanitization .

Rate of Pay: $14.5//hr.

Part-time employees generally work 15 hours or less per week and are not benefit eligible. Please note: Peak season is March-September. October- January there will likely be a reduction in hours during this these months, this is considered a Temporary Position.

Job Description Overview

• Provide excellent customer service!
• Food handling includes adding toppings to customers yogurt, making panini sandwiches, smoothies, and other heat and serve food.
• Clean and sanitize Soft Serve Machines—After Hours or on a day the shop is closed.
• Ensure that the shop is safe, clean and welcoming for visitors.
• Stocking of products and supplies
• Maintain daily update of food safety records in accordance with Health Department requirements
• Maintain inventory list
• Ensure every guest is treated fairly

Essential Abilities, Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older! This role is not ideal for High School Students as the schedule will require availability during the typical school day.

• Having previously held a recent role in a café, coffee, smoothie shop, restaurant, retail or similar experience
• Must be a great communicator
• Cash Handling Experience
• Multitasking (Able to focus on more than one thing at a time)
• Listen to customers and be efficient in your job
• Be a positive person / Likes working or being a part of a Team.
• Trustworthy
• Values of diversity and committed to treating customers fairly
• Solving problems, helping the team write the playbook, and willingness to change when it is best for the team
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision when working
• Timely, open and honest communication is a must!
