Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of residential and commercial landscapes. This role requires a strong understanding of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and the ability to operate various power and hand tools effectively. The Lawn Technician will play a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of properties while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain a neat appearance.
- Execute landscape maintenance duties such as planting, fertilizing, and watering plants and trees.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of lawns and landscapes to identify issues such as pests or diseases.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, or flowers as needed.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their landscapes.
Skills
- Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, trimming, and tree care.
- Experience with operating power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools for various landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices including fertilization, pest control, and irrigation systems.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including digging and lifting as needed.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards are met consistently.
