Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and grounded General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in hospitality management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our team operates efficiently while maintaining high standards for our property.
Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Responsible for guest journey; including pre-arrival experience, on-property experience and post-stay experience
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, aiming for a quick and satisfactory resolution
- Monitor guest satisfaction and actively look for opportunities to improve their experience
Employee Experience
- Oversee all hotel employees; including assistant manager, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Cultivate a warm and positive employee culture; including rewards and incentive programs
- Maintain efficient and effective staff levels
- Oversee hiring, onboarding and training
Overall Revenue
- Drive total hotel revenue; including: rooms, bar, retail, groups, guest add-ons and property events
- Work with dynamic pricing tool to set room rates and achieve revenue goals
- Ensure minimal waste of products and supplies
Operations
- Ensure high standards for property and room cleanliness and appearance
- Optimize sustainability efforts by reducing waste and seeking out eco products
- Ensure maintenance needs are addressed by the appropriate service company
- Maintain a consistent weekly schedule to support front desk and bar operations
- Available after hours to handle guest or property concerns
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
