What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Black Bear Talent?
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to join our team and assist in soft washing services for residential and commercial properties. This role involves operating and maintaining soft washing equipment, preparing job sites, and providing support to the crew to ensure high-quality exterior cleaning results.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup and breakdown of soft washing equipment on job sites
- Support lead technician in the cleaning of home and building exteriors, including siding, roofs, decks, fences, driveways, and sidewalks
- Mix and apply cleaning solutions safely and in accordance with safety protocols
- Ensure all safety equipment is used correctly and job sites remain clean and organized
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers, answering basic questions if needed
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working condition
- Follow all company procedures and safety standards
- Perform other general labor tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in pressure washing, soft washing, landscaping, or general labor is a plus
- Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the crew lead
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites or central meet-up location
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license preferred
