JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator Helper to assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include supporting machine operators, monitoring production, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean work area. Ideal candidates will have good attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow safety protocols. Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Opens rolls and/or properly stages product for production dependent upon assigned line.
- Responsible for wrapping finished products and staging finished product to designated area.
- Must be able to understand and complete the helper checklist.
- Must be able to competently complete required paperwork.
- Must be able to read and understand internal job tickets.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow the prescribed safety regulations.
- May assist the Operator with machine set up.
- Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to meet production deadlines.
- Assists Operator with general maintenance duties on machines as required.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screens
- Must adhere to ALL safety policies
- Good attendance is critical.
