What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Black Bear Talent?
This is a three week temporary position with no guarantee of transitioning to a full-time role.
Are you a skilled Machine Operator or Machinist? Black Bear Talent is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, run, and maintain production equipment. Must have attention to detail, safety focus, and machine operation experience. Apply now to join our team!
- Load and Monitor CNC Lathe and CNC Mill as instructed.
- Notify set up Machinist if there is a need.
- Assist Machinist with Set-up of Machine.
- Maintain production rates to meet customer requirements.
- Complete all necessary documentation.
- Clean machines and maintain area around machine.
- Performs other job-related duties as needed. (Ex: Sweep Floors and take out trash as needed.)
The Types of Machines the operator would be running would be CNC Lathes, CNC Mills and Horizontal Band Saw.Employer will provide Basic Safety Training for operation of these machines and the operator will be under the supervision of our Machinist.
The candidate for this position must have a clean Criminal Record.
