Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in martial arts especially Taekwondo. This role involves educating and engaging students in a supportive environment while promoting physical fitness and personal development.
Duties
- Educate students in various disciplines such as martial arts and general fitness.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and learning styles.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Organize and lead classes that encourage participation and foster teamwork among students.
- Provide feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe and ready for use.
- Collaborate with other instructors to enhance program offerings and student experiences.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or working with youth is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in martial arts or relevant certifications (e.g., Kukkiwon or Taekwondo) is preferred.
- Experience as a Taekwondo instructor and a camp counselor is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- A background in behavior management techniques is beneficial.
