Black Bull Golf Club is excited to announce the career opportunity of a Pool Manager for our property. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and focus on providing superior service.

The Pool Manager will directly manage the pool attendants to ensure the daily operations of the pool facilities run smoothly and efficiently. The Pool Manager is the front-line leader who ensures we provide safe, clean, family-friendly aquatic facilities.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

• Directly supervises the pool attendants
• Creates weekly schedules for staff with the appropriate staffing levels based on the needs of the operation
• Act as a leader and mentor during day-to-day operations and lead staff training during in-service.
• Enforce pool rules and policies at all times.
• The pool manager must immediately correct issues to ensure member and guest satisfaction.
• Acts as a role model and always presents a professional attitude and appearance.
• Wears proper uniform to be easily identified as a Pool Manager.
• Completes daily and required documents legibly and professionally.
• Document, suggest, and assist with disciplinary write ups for aquatic staff.
• Ensures daily chemical, safety, and equipment logs are recorded and maintained.
• Tests water chemicals and appropriately adjust chemicals or chemical feeders to comply with health standards.
• Attend/facilitate regular mandatory staff meetings and in-service training.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Assists with department special events.
• Maintains inventory of food & beverage items, emergency supplies, and daily supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous aquatics leadership experience preferred.
• Certified Alcohol Service
