We are looking for an entry level Bitcoin Mining Operations Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations of our Bitcoin mining facility. This will include miner prep, monitoring and maintaining mining hardware and software, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing performance to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and inspect ASICs for immersion
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues with mining hardware and software
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on mining hardware to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues with mining hardware and software
- Maintain and update mining software to ensure optimal efficiency and security
- Work with other members of the team to develop and implement strategies for minimizing downtime
- Monitor mining operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Maintain accurate records of mining performance and profitability
- Assist with the installation and setup of new mining hardware and software
- Maintain a professional, organized work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (Preferred but not required)
- At least 2 years of experience in a IT role, preferably in a IT troubleshooting environment
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to lift 30lb boxes on occasion
- Occasional travel to various Texas cities and Ohio
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
