The Job :

As an Industrial Prototype Specialist , youll be part Industrial Design Prototyping Center team working as hybrid employee based in Towson, MD. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone passionate about industrial design, fabrication, and problem-solving. Since our team is small, collaboration and effective time management are essential to keeping projects on track.

Youll get to :

• Operate and maintain professional 3D printers to produce high-quality prototypes.
• Edit and modify CAD files for production and prototyping.
• Use Adobe Illustrator, slicing software, and other applications for design and preparation.
• Perform hand fabrication and finishing work to refine prototypes.
• Troubleshoot technical and design challenges to improve the prototyping process.
• Maintain and perform routine maintenance on fabrication machines.
• Follow project timelines and communicate progress effectively.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $51,600- $92,200 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
