Job Summary:
The Complex Massage Therapist is responsible for performing a variety of therapeutic massage and body treatments to resort guests across both resort properties. This role requires a high level of technical skill, professionalism, and adaptability to work in two distinct luxury spa environments. The ideal candidate is results-driven, wellness-focused, and passionate about guest care, with the flexibility to travel between resorts based on operational needs.

Work Location: Black Desert ResortShift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time or Part-TimePay Rate: $10/Hr Commission Service Charges. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. With total compensation estimated to average out to be around $28-$38/hr.

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, hot stone, prenatal, and other specialized treatments as trained
- Customize each service to meet individual guest needs, concerns, and wellness goals
- Maintain accurate treatment records, guest preferences, and notes through spa software systems
- Support spa cleanliness, including restocking, sanitizing treatment rooms, and resetting between appointments
- Uphold OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogen, PPE, and all sanitation protocols per state and resort standards
- Provide exceptional service with professionalism and attention to guest comfort
- Follow spa opening/closing procedures and support team members across both resorts
- Stay current with treatment protocols, resort promotions, and wellness trends
- Represent both resorts in alignment with brand standards
- Travel between properties as needed based on schedule, demand, and coverage
Qualifications
- Valid Utah Massage Therapy License (required)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a spa, resort, or clinical setting
- Proficiency in multiple massage techniques and wellness services
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable transportation to travel between resorts as scheduled
- Knowledge of spa software systems (e.g., SpaSoft, Mindbody, Book4Time) a plus
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
