Black Diamond Equipment is looking for hard-working, like-minded individuals for our warehouse / distribution center team to assist with our bulk department where you'll be operating a forklift on occasion and primarily a bulk truck to store, pick or move bulk quantities of our products.
The DC Bulk Operator operates heavy equipment to pull and replace items in upper storage racking. Responsible for stocking, moving, retrieval, cycle counts and overall inventory accuracy in the DC bulk area. Tasked to communicate with DC Management as needed on equipment maintenance and repair issues. Works within BD ERP and WMS systems.

Work Experience:
Preferred:
Six months experience working in a warehouse environment. A minimum of 3-6 months experience operating heavy equipment.
Skills and general experience: Experience operating heavy equipment is a requirement. Must be energetic and self-directed. Proficiency in reading, writing and conversing in English is required. Basic mathematics knowledge. Basic problem solving and organizing skills. Demonstrates proficiency in manual dexterity. Prefer experience working within a WMS or ERP programs. Good interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Company product knowledge and experience in the outdoor industry is helpful but not required. Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders
Required licenses: Valid Driver’s license & clean driving record, forklift operation certification.
Authorized and responsible to continuously improve upon and perform all duties according to BDEL Quality, Safety, and Employee Policies and procedures:
1. Show up on time.
2. Responsible for safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment as outlined by OSHA guidelines as well as within the Black Diamond forklift certification training
3. Ensure bulk area inventory accuracy and integrity through cycle counts, process monitoring and appropriate systems entries.
4. Meets or exceeds inventory put away or picking times and productivity goals as defined by the DC Management.
5. Responsible for receiving, putting away, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping in accordance with DC policies and procedures.
6. Maintain bulk storage areas to optimize storage space
7. Assist with routine cycle counting and physical inventory counts as directed by Leads or DC Management
8. Complete maintenance tasks and equipment inspections daily per the defined DC process.
9. Respectful communication with all Black Diamond Equipment employees is required.
