Essential Duties:
- Assist customers with appropriate information, advice and service.
- Accurate entry of merchandise, payments and customer details in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Resolve issues involving customer relations and satisfaction.
- Fit customers properly for rental/demo equipment.
- Maintain store’s clean, organized appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Restocking and managing back stock including lifting boxes of gear.
- Open and Close store in absence of Store Manager or Retail Lead
*waiting period applicable.
Requirements
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma
Work Experience:
- Required: Customer Service Experience.
- Preferred: 6mo-1 year retail sales in an outdoor specialty store. Knowledge of Black Diamond Equipment gear and apparel is a plus.
Skills and general experience:
- Excellent customer relation skills, knowledge of POS systems, typing, merchandising, product knowledge, self-motivated
