Junior Graphic Designer

Black Drum LLC is looking for a graphic designer to work full-time from our office in Charleston, SC. Our ideal candidate is passionate about design, highly creative, motivated, and has experience in design for digital and print applications. The graphic designer will create content for our and direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brands, with a primary focus on email design, and will work closely with team members on a range of ambitious projects.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day design of email marketing content : design exciting and effective newsletter, promotional, and evergreen emails; implement design best practices; and a / b test content strategies to engage our DTC customers and improve email KPIs
• Create static and video content for paid social media ads
• Plan, design, and execute organic social media posts
• Complete ad hoc design projects, including but not limited to print media, packaging refreshes, etc.
• Assist in the creative direction of photoshoots, creating Pinterest boards and shot lists
• Maintain brand consistency and design standards
• Understand marketing learnings and feedback to optimize designs and turn around edits quickly
