We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Support Associate to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
Role Overview:
As a Production Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process. This position involves a variety of tasks related to the day-to-day functions of our production floor. Your responsibilities will include supporting our press and machine operators, maintaining an organized and clean work environment, and assisting with various production-related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen Reclamation: Responsible for cleaning and reclaiming used screens to prepare them for reuse in the screen printing process. Duties include removing ink, emulsion, and debris from screens using pressure washers and reclaiming chemicals, inspecting screens for damage, and maintaining a clean and organized reclaim area.
- Stage Materials: Prepare and stage materials for production runs, ensuring that all necessary items are readily available for efficient operation.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the production area clean, organized, and free of debris to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Support Press Operators: Provide support to press operators by setting up equipment, supplying materials, and addressing any issues that may arise during production.
- Other Duties: Perform additional operations duties as assigned by the Production Manager or team leads to support overall production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a warm production environment. Candidates should be comfortable with the physical demands of a hands-on, fast-paced setting.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle various tasks as needed.
