The Customer Insights Analyst role will champion customer-informed decision-making by providing meaningful insights that inform messaging, marketing programs, product and competitive positioning. This role will also use this data to identify and cultivate customer advocates through the management of our customer reference and review program.

This role is key to helping link customer insights to business results by informing marketing decisions and supporting key sales enablement initiatives. This role is on the product marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer reference program – identify, secure, track and manage the process around customer advocacy activities such as case studies, testimonials, etc.
  • Drive work-streams to recruit and manage online customer reviews.
  • Provide support for our customer survey program, including survey analysis, contact management and logistics.
  • Coordinate with demand-generation, customer success, customer support and customer engagement teams to ensure consistent approach to customer marketing and insights analysis.
  • Coordinate with demand-generation and product marketing to ensure optimal content for newsletters and other communications.
  • Coordinate with sales and sales enablement to support customer reference activity.
  • Other related initiatives as identified.

Skills And Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in B2B customer marketing, customer and/or market insights, or product marketing.
  • Aptitude for data analysis, survey analysis, and trend analysis.
  • Aptitude for distilling information, making connections and developing and communicating tailored recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate Black Duck product capabilities, value propositions and key messages.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Empathetic person with strong passion for understanding customers and what motivates them to take action.
  • You’re a connector by nature. Across unstructured information, people and teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $97100-$145700. In addition, this role is eligible for commission. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.

Pay Range: $97,100 USD - $145,700 USD
