We are looking for tenacious and passionate people for a position of a Barista | Catering Lead.
This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate our clients' needs for various events.
We provide world-class paid training that will give you coffee trade and technical skills and will make you a better coffee service professional.

Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Planning, preparing, and packing for upcoming events at our location in River Forest (walking distance from Metra, Blue and Green Lines)
- Driving our van to a client's location
- Communicating with the client on location to ensure their needs are met with excellence
- Providing leadership to another barista during the set-up, event, and tear-down
- Making sure events run smoothly and taking action whenever problems arise
Qualifications
An ideal candidate will:
- Have insatiable curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Have a deep sense of ownership and taking responsibility for the outcome
- Be fluid in English
- Have at least 1 year of experience as a barista
- Have very good latte art skills
- Have high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
- Have the ability to make clients feel at home and welcome
- Pay close attention to detail, especially in making sure our cleanliness and visual presentation are impeccable
- Be extremely punctual and reliable
- Be comfortable in fast-paced and at times stressful situations
- Be very responsive in communicating
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lb
- Must have some technical skills and be able to troubleshoot in the field
