Job Summary:
We are seeking Professional Truck Drivers to join our transportation team at Black Gold Transport LLC.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of commercial driving experience including doubles, heavy haul, and inclement weather driving. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while adhering to all state and federal traffic, DOT, and FMCSA rules and regulations.
Duties:
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and double, side-dump trailers
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition
- Ensure loads are properly secured and safely delivered
- Maintain communication with dispatch and management as necessary throughout shifts
- Comply with all local, state, and federal traffic, DOT, and FMCSA regulations
- Adhere to company and MSHA rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid Class A CDL and active doubles endorsement
- Minimum of 5 years of Class A commercial driving experience
- Experience driving in inclement weather, including snow and ice
- Heavy haul and/or oversize experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road

- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Physical ability to put on tire chains and gain proficiency through experience or training
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work long shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to use all required technology and programs
- Frequent sitting, with occasional standing, stretching, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs unassisted
- Must have a valid DOT medical card
- Must pass all prehire screenings to include MVR, PSP, Clearinghouse, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug test
