Salary/Benefits: Based on education and work experience ($60,000 – $80,000 ). Partial Board paid Health Insurance, Board paid Life Insurance, paid Sick and Personal leave. TRS pension position.
Type of Employment: Full-time; 190-day contract.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching or related service experience, strongly preferred to be in special education.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and Illinois General Administrative or Principal endorsement required.
- Illinois Special Education licensure preferred
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and school administration, particularly in programs for students with disabilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including students, parents/guardians, teachers, staff, administration, and community members.
- Experience in managing complex situations and developing effective strategies for student support in various areas, such as autism, severe/profound, behavior, etc.
