Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks associated with maintaining accurate law enforcement records in various databases. Performs related clerical and administrative support work as required.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work Shift: 11:30 am to 8 pm.Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance at a specified location in order to perform assigned tasks.Receives warrants or inquiries from law enforcement/courts, accesses in-house databases to gather intel, enters data such as warrant subject identifiers, criminal history, officer safety alerts and other related information as required.Files and updates data entries such as run-a-ways, arrest warrants, missing persons, no contact orders, stolen/recovered vehicles, plates, guns, and other miscellaneous records as needed.Runs criminal background checks and stolen property inquiries as needed.Performs quality control checks on information entered by other center personnel; includes validating and verifying arrest warrants and related records.Updates and corrects CJIS/NCIC arrest information as needed.Prepares various forms and reports, includes cover sheets and intake forms for warrants; Generates reports on active warrants and to reconcile with court records.Maintains knowledge of standard Communication Center practices and procedures.Ensures confidentiality is maintained regarding personal information of victims, witnesses, law enforcement officers, etc.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Supervision is received from Director of the Consolidated Communications Center, or other designated supervisor.SUPERVISION EXERCISED: No functional and administrative supervision is exercised over support staff.
